1. To all members...the password data base of the old board was corrupted by third party hackers who stole everyones passwords and used them to log on and do malicious activities to our old board...to include logging into the control panel and doing malicious activities under members names. To rid us all of all the crap with the new board, I just kept our user names and posts. Everything else I ditched and therefore we have to do things like retrieve a new password, re-fill out our profiles, etc.... I am sorry for the inconvenience though I know you will all quickly get over it when you start using this new board!! So, to be able to log onto the new board, every member will have to follow these steps to get a new password and enable log on for their porfiles... 1. click on the log in button(you do not even have to fill the log in out, just click the button) 2. a box will pop up stating... vBulletin Message You have entered an invalid username or password. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here! You have used 1 out of 5 login attempts. After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 15 minutes. 3. With in the above box the word "here" in the phrase Click here! will be highlighted in blue. Click on the word "here" within that phrase and follow the directions for a password retrieval. 4. Once you get a new temp password sent to you, which will happen immediately, log in and change your password to something else but NOT what t used to be on the old board. 5. You will then be good to go from now on and will be able to log in every time from there on in. 6. If you have any questions, or the above is to complicated for you to handle mentally...LOL...then just shoot me and email and I will change your password to whatever you would like!
